Michael de Broglio is the founder of the firm de Broglio Attorneys Inc, which has branches in both Johannesburg and Pretoria.  The firm was established in 1995.  While he focuses on his practice only these days, he did in the past sit on various boards and legal organizations, amongst which he can include being the youngest ever Chairperson of both the Johannesburg Attorneys Association as well as the Gauteng Law Council.  He also sat on disciplinary panels for the then Law Society of the Northern Provinces, now known as the Legal Practice Council and was a councillor of what is now the Legal Practice Council, Gauteng Division, for 10 years. 

He set up this particular newsletter in 2008 after having written the Johannesburg Attorneys Association’s RAF newsletter, at the time (it no longer exists), for many years before that.
